Licensed waste deposit and collection in Oxford, Berkshire and Reading

At our Environment Agency-registered waste management centre in Oxfordshire, we dispose of and recycle waste from local construction companies, tradespeople and residents.

When you deposit waste or arrange collection, our team processes usable waste materials into environmentally friendly premium recycled aggregates. We then use these in our own projects or sell them on to developers, contractors and non-trade buyers as durable, cost-effective alternatives to freshly quarried material.

Recycled aggregates available for purchase

Where possible, we process waste material into high-quality recycled aggregates. You can buy these eco-friendly materials at affordable rates to limit your construction costs and reach your sustainability goals.

Options include:

  • Capped layer material 6F2: A well-draining crushed stone mixture used as a sub-base for roads, driveways and pathways
  • 10mm and 20mm shingle: Dry-screened recycled shingle that’s ideal for drainage applications, pipe-laying projects and landscaping
  • Cable sand: Fine-grade, free-flowing sand that resists movement after compaction and keeps underground cables and pipes cool
  • 75mm/40mm concrete: Crushed concrete screened to remove dust and fines, for use as a sub-base or drainage layer for surfacing projects
  • Screened road planings: Highly resistant top-layer material, particularly useful for areas with heavy traffic or difficult weather
  • Type 1 recycled concrete: Versatile and environmentally friendly materials for driveways, roads and footpaths
  • Crushed tarmac: Reclaimed from road surfacing and civil engineering projects, this material is typically used as a sub-base for car parks and private roads

Recycling Centre FAQs

Can tradespeople arrange waste collection from worksites?

If your site is large enough for our tippers to access safely, we can arrange to collect suitable materials directly from you.

This is often very helpful for contractors who generate significant amounts of concrete, tarmac or hardcore during construction or demolition works.

Get it in touch to let us know where you are and what type of waste you have, and we’ll confirm whether collection is possible.

Do you offer ongoing waste management or supply arrangements for trades?

Yes, we do. We can arrange regular tipping, scheduled waste handling and consistent aggregate supply for contractors working across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Reading and the surrounding area.

These long-term arrangements help keep your workflows predictable and cost efficient.

Is there any waste you can’t accept?

We can’t accept hazardous materials like asbestos, chemically contaminated soil or any waste classed as restricted under environmental regulations.

If you’re not sure about a particular material, give us a call so we can confirm suitability for deposit or collection.

What happens to waste once it arrives at your recycling centre?

Our team sorts waste into recyclable and non-recyclable.

We dispose of non-recyclable items in line with environmental regulations. And we recover as much material as possible from recyclable waste.

Materials like concrete, road planings and tarmac are crushed and screened to create new aggregates. We then use these in our own road surfacing and civil engineering projects, or sell them on at affordable prices for trade and non-trade use.

Can I collect aggregates directly from your recycling centre?

Yes, you can.

Please call ahead so we can confirm availability and prepare your order.

Then, when you arrive, we’ll load your order onto your vehicle safely.

Do you sell recycled aggregates to non-trade customers?

Yes, we supply both trade and non-trade customers.

So even if you’re completing a home project or managing works without a contractor, you can order directly from our team for delivery or collection.

Can you provide small loads for individual or limited-size projects?

Yes, we can. Our team is always happy to supply smaller loads for customers who only need a modest quantity of materials.

This is ideal for topping up your driveway, repairing access routes and completing small domestic or landscaping projects.

What vehicle access is required for aggregate deliveries?

Most residential driveways, farm tracks and construction sites provide enough room for our tippers to reach you and unload safely.

If access is limited, please give us a call to let us know before you schedule so we can arrange suitable delivery.
