Road planing (also called cold milling) involves removing the worn or damaged top layer of an asphalt or tarmac surface while keeping the sublayers intact.

This leaves a smooth, stable surface for laying a new surface. And it ensures your resurfacing contractors can lay fresh material at the correct height around kerbs, drainage routes and access points.
